November Updates
We have a jam packed November update for you with a number of major new features and changes.
New Features
Slack Integration and Notification Update
A brand-new integration is now available in the new UI for Slack. This is intended to have more visibility over your notifications and how they are sent such as booking requests or quote approvals. Have a look at the video below to see how to set it up and how it works.
Keep in mind that this is just the beginning of our Slack integration — we have many more updates planned, with an advanced automation update coming soon.
Bulk Print Labels
You can now print bulk labels from the Stocks screen using the Bulk Actions button.
Commission Report Updates
The commission report now exports differently. Instead of exporting as a summary document, it now exports in a per-invoice layout.
New Communication Template Changes
Just a quick one here — we’ve added the Courtesy Vehicle Booking template to the Communication Templates section of MD. We’ve also added a new variable for the service reminder templates called ‘next service in days’.
Bug Fixes and Changes
- Added an option to toggle the Overdue Invoice Reminder automation to include the invoice attachment in the email.
- Made a change to the Job Types dropdown to have a longer selection area, ensuring longer descriptions fit.
- Updated the Quick Search so that if a user has the restriction ‘cannot access customers’ or ‘cannot access inventory’, these options no longer appear in the search area.
- Adjusted how headers are presented on invoices in the new UI so they stretch across the header area.
- Fixed several alignment issues.
